Change is not going to happen without you. Change is not something that falls into your lap. If you want to stop the endless chaos this country seems to be facing you are going to have to do for your country what is needed. You have to adapt to the change you see around you because change is not going to come by just one.
We cannot sit and hope for Barack Obama to save the freaking world. Its not going to happen. Obama will be lucky if he can save a single school. This is the problem we are facing. If we have people (of all ages) unwilling to face the facts, unwilling to adhere to the principles and rights our nation was founded upon then we are facing a crisis. Nevermind those "savages" in other countries we always like to rant and rave about. (no names necessary) The savages are right here in our country, one of them goes by the name, or adopted it for his radio SCREAM show program. That man, Michael Savage is a complete loon. How are people like him and Bill O'Reilly employed? If you have ever listened to Michael or seen Bill on TV you probably know what I am talking about. I should sure hope.
Once again...how? If I acted like that at my workplace, if I was asked to interview some guests and I had an outburst or any outburst like his, I would be sacked so fast, probably sued into a fine dust and tossed out the building with one way ticket to a 72 hour mental hold. What kind of power do these men have to dodge the FCC, their superiors, producers, and sponsors? Seriously. Stop watching their programs! I don't watch them. I cannot support the man. I'll watch his stuff on YouTube... but this insanity has got to stop. It is man like Bill O'reilly that are creating a generation of republican wingnut robots from hell.
The inability to face facts in this country is disturbing. The inability to face double standards and question them is non-existant with the majority it would seem. If America was not ignorant, wasn't living with blinders on their eyes, they might ask themselves how or why they have allowed their government to convince them to condemn an entire nation, when they will defend another nation who lived and died, and was oppressed and eventually freed in the same fashion this nation we call Palestine is being condemned for by the world at large. Oh wait... my world, which is America, which thinks it is large... but is really, kind of looking not so hot right now.
The problem with that is truth. America is not as true as it was 10 years ago. America was actually drowning in lies at about that time... regardless, it seems as if things are getting worse and worse. And that is the illness called ignorance which is proliferating itself upon generations, opening up countless doors for generational, and genealogical wars. Luckily for the generation we see today, the emo-care about nothing bears, and their groupie friends we don't have to worry too much about losing these guys to extremism. Regardless of that, that generation can birth the true devils of discontent. A generation so neglected, so corruptable and confused, one brought up in most likely a society of growing ethnic dimension. Ethnic unity is a wonderful thing.
I enjoy it. I been blessed with the opportunity to have a relationship that is multi racial. I am not really a big believer in race. I think its unfair to call one group of people a race, another a nation, and another a religion. Either way, a group is a group and labels are just labels. I could call myself an Israelite, but that wouldn't be very accurate. Yet, it wouldn't be very wrong either. For I am an Israelite, as are most Jews. But you could be an Israelite, you who thinks he is not in anyway a Jew. For your ancestors could have been Israelites. When Solomon ruled, it is said that he had an open view towards other faiths and cultures, so the notion that Israel was a place just for Jews is not very true. When reading the Bible, it turns out the Jews became secretive at first, tried to get by....didn't sit too well with that, and ended up going on bloody rampages all over the land of Caanan to cleanse the people of idols and other not kosher things.
I don't want Barack Obama to be King Solomon. I don't want the nation to be split, and us all cursed for thousands and thousands of years. Thats just all I see coming really. I mean, eventually we'll be fighting weaponized robots from vengeful Laotians 300-600 years from now. Or maybe they will come from Nicaragua. It could be anyone of the hundreds of countries our nation has pillaged or raped in some fashion, whether through economic buyouts, coercion of policy, tricke down (SCREW THE REST OF YOU) capitalism, with their lavish and complicated G8 funded aid programes and food drives which are worthless and corrupt, handed to the criminals we are trying to punish and sold for gas to kill innocent people.
For these purposes, I feel it is important to stay informed, stay in touch, discuss, communicate, and speak out. It is important to do whatever you can, whether it is writing a blog no one is going to read, or writing a letter to an important person that no one is going to read.
Try something. If that doesn't work. Then you know you have more work to do. In the end, sadly I will have to say I doubt there is anything you can do, alone.
